I'm not really sure where John came up with these lyrics. To the best of my knowledge, we were both ignorant of fandom and filk in 1979. This song said something very important for me then, as the title implies; I was dreaming of great it would be if the third verse ever came true.

Now the Dyson Sphere's begun;

Is that Contact with me?
